Coppin's Lookout Evening

The view from Coppin's Lookout in Sorrento, Victoria.

This is my favourite patch of coastline to paint, in all lights and all weathers. On evenings like this one. all you can hear is the ocean, and warm lights of the café below catch the tops of the waves.

Medium: Gouache on paper (300 gsm, 100% cotton, cold-pressed).

Painting dimensions: 16 x 22 cm

The piece is mounted with a textured white matteboard in a timber frame.
