Commissions

Interested in commissioning a custom painting for yourself or a loved one? Here's how it works:

You send me your idea - photos, reference images, your description of what you have in mind.
Once we've confirmed the size of the piece and any other details, I take a 20% deposit, and get to work.
I send you some rough sketches to give you an idea of colour palette and composition.
If you're happy with the sketch, I start the painting, and send you progress updates as I go.

Timeline

Timing varies based on the size of the piece, and how much we may go back and forth on options to make sure you're completely happy with your piece.

A5 & A4 pieces will take a minimum of one month.

Larger pieces will likely take three months.

If you need the painting by a specific date, please let me know up front.

Materials

The paint:

I use professional grade Winsor & Newton gouache paint, with a minimum light permanence score of A.

The paper:

I use hot-pressed (i.e. smooth), 300 gsm, 100% cotton paper.

600 gsm paper is available on request, at an additional cost.

Packaging

For A5 and A4 sizing, the piece will be packaged with a matte board, ready for framing. For an additional cost, we can ship it in a timber frame.

For A3 and larger pieces, the painting will be shipped rolled in a tube to make sure it arrives safely.
